Welcome to the Leander Wolfpack 2026 Fall Season!

 

We're excited to have you join our Pack, whether you're a returning family or new to LYFA! Below are important details to help you stay informed and prepared for the season.  

 

Build confidence, learn new skills, and bring the spirit to Wolfpack football! Our cheerleaders develop teamwork, leadership, and athletic ability while cheering on the sidelines and competing locally. We welcome both new and experienced cheerleaders and are passionate about helping every athlete grow—no matter their starting skill level.

* Our coaches can help athletes practice and incorporate tumbling skills they already have into routines. However, Wolfpack Cheer coaches are not trained tumbling instructors. Athletes who want to develop or advance their tumbling skills are encouraged to enroll in outside tumbling classes.

Team Commitment

Cheerleading is a team sport, and every athlete plays an important role in routines, stunts, and sideline cheers.

Because of this:

• Regular attendance is expected

• Missed practices may impact an athlete’s ability to participate in games or competition

• Please communicate all absences with your coach

We are proud of the strong culture and performance of our program. Our athletes work hard, support each other, and represent the Wolfpack with pride.

 

Key Dates & Requirements

📌 Zorts Player Card (Due August 1)

• All players must have a Zorts player card.  Click  here for more information on completing this step of the registration process. Upload a birth certificate and a recent, clear head-shot without hat or sunglasses. 

• Athlete's team is based on age as of July 29,2026

• Uniform fitting dates:

  • May 15: 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Glenn High School (during our free camp)

  • June 6:  9:00 am to 11:00 am at Lakewood Park Splash Pad

  • June 27: 9:00 am to 11:00am at Lakewood Park Splash Pad

Practice Schedule

Practice will begin the week of 8/1. Days and time of practice will be annouced soon.

📢 Practices:

• Team Practices Begin: Week of August 1st

• 2 days per week, 6:00-8:00 PM

• Practice Location: Glenn High School  Though if Glenn is not available William T Law Park (1205 Knoll Ridge Dr, Cedar Park, TX 78613 )  will be the default location.

 

Game Schedule

 🏟️ Games Start: Saturday 9/5 LABOR DAY WEEKEND
🏟️ Regular Season: 8 games over 9 weeks + 1 makeup week
🏟️ Home & Away Games: 4 each + end-of-season/bowl game
🏟️ Championship: November 21st (Top 2 teams in each division)
🏟️ Game Schedule Released: 1 week before the first game

📢Our program runs on amazing volunteers, and coaches are what make Wolfpack Cheer possible.

You do not have to have cheer or dance experience—just a love for working with kids, a positive attitude, and a willingness to help athletes grow and have an incredible season.

 

📢 We especially need coaches for the Junior squad (ages 9–10).
