2026 Flag Football Registration

Welcome to the Leander Wolfpack 2026 Fall Tackle Football Season!

We're excited to have you join our Pack, whether you're a returning family or new to LYFA! Below are important details to help you stay informed and prepared for the season.

Our main communication platform. The link for all FLAG Football Families will be sent out at the beginning of the season.  Once teams are formed, you'll receive a link to join your specific team.

Key Dates & Requirements

📌 Zorts Player Card (Due August 1)

• All players must have a Zorts player card.  Click  here for more information on completing this step of the registration process.

• Upload a birth certificate and a recent, clear head-shot without hat or sunglasses.

• Athlete's team is based on age as of July 29,2026

• Be sure to include your players size and number request for uniforms in their zorts profile. Use the players standard t-shirt/dri-fit shirt size.​

Team Commitment

Football is a Contact sport, and every athlete needs as much opproutinity to learn and practice the fundamentals and proper technique to ensure their safety.

Because of this:

• Regular attendance is expected

• 2 Missed practices in a week makes them ineligible to participate in that week's game.

• Please communicate all absences with your coach

📌 Parents Need to Provide:
🛡️ Soft Shell Helmet or Helmet Band (Black preferred)
🛡️ Mouthpiece
🛡️ Cleats
 

Conditioning & Practice Schedule

Practice will begin the week of 8/1. Days and time of practice will be annouced soon.

🏈 Team Practices:

• Team Practices Begin in August and will run 1-2 days a week from 6-7:30pm (Each head coach will confirm with parents at the beginning of the season).

• Practice Location: We book usually Glenn High School or another Leander ISD facilities (but not finalized in August).  William T Law Park (1205 Knoll Ridge Dr, Cedar Park, TX 78613 )  will be the default location when Leander ISD fields are not available.\

Game Schedule

 🏟️ Games Start: Saturday 9/5 LABOR DAY WEEKEND
🏟️ Regular Season: 8 games over 9 weeks + 1 makeup week
🏟️ Home & Away Games: 4 each + end-of-season/bowl game
🏟️ Championship: November 22nd (Top 2 teams in each division)
🏟️ Game Schedule Released: 1 week before the first game
